Staff member Tiana was excellent at checking my mother in and made her feel like a VIP. I came shortly after and hadn’t realised she checked in already . Jenny warmly welcomed me ( even through I probably looked a little disheveled from rushing to meet my mum) and tried to find my booking . Tiana came over and identified that she had just settled my mother in already which explained the confusion caused by me . Both ladies were lovely !! My mother was given complimentary breakfast and they decorated her room accompanied by gifts for her 60th birthday. Truly a 5* experience and I have no regrets at all that I spent extra to book her into this hotel. My mother mentioned that the sauna was perfect and had the right amount of steam. I also love that lifts only work with a key card. As someone who has worked in a 4* hotel some years ago I really appreciated all the efforts and could definitely tell why this hotel has a 5* ranking .

Breakfast had a good variety but because our stay was during Christmas and new year, it was overcrowded and the restaurant was not prepared to deal with such crowds. The hotel was so thoughtful to put presents in front of my children’s rooms for Christmas. Such a lovely gesture.

The room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. The location was fantastic. You can go everywhere by bus or metro, which are very close to the hotel. However, they don't have parking, so if you have a car, it will be a problem. For breakfast, it was good. Not excellent, but it meets your limited expectations. Clearness is very important for us, and their room, bar, and kitchen were clear

The staff at this hotel truly went above and beyond! From the doorman to the check-in lady, everyone was exceptional. The hotel itself is modern and perfect, with beautiful art throughout. The cleaning staff were friendly, and the bar area staff were amazing. We were particularly impressed with the luggage handling - our bags were dropped off in our rooms before check-in, and two gentlemen helped us with our luggage to the car for our Uber. The hotel room was modern, the bathroom was clean and lovely, and the staff were always willing to go the extra mile to sort out any issues. Overall, our experience was exceptional in every way.

I rarely write reviews but my daughters (6 and 22) and I absolutely loved this hotel! The location is great, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool area is clean, friendly and relaxing, with set children’s times. But what made our stay truly memorable was the AMAZING level of friendly, personalised service we received. Not only did we find a little welcome gift in our room upon arrival, Tiana (?) at reception let us check in early and gave us a free room upgrade and Bruno, the restaurant manager, went over and beyond to cater for one of our friend‘s allergies… A wonderful experience overall and we would definitely go back!

My sisters and I were in desperate need of a break from the non stop day to day and the plans finally made it "out of the group chat" when we stumbled across Montcalm East! We didn't know what to expect but let's just say expectations were exceeded! Everything was absolutely perfect from the super welcoming staff- especially Abdullah (I hope I have spelt that correctly) whom I understand was extremely helpful to my sisters when they checked in, to the delicious food, to the very comfortable and clean bedroom (the heated bathroom floor 🥳🥳🥳) with very nice amenities. I think the key thing for us was to find a hotel that allowed unlimited access to the spa facilities. Montcalm East is one of the very few establishments in London that offer that to guests staying at the hotel. Other places only allow up to 2 hours!

Hand on heart this was one of the best hotels I’ve been to. The buildings interior is so nice and the customer service was elite. I booked a stay to do a girlfriend proposal and Anista & Coco from the guest experience team did everything they could to make the experience so special and unforgettable. I was given so much assistance and support even from before I got to the hotel being sent offers and information about personal room decoration setups, spa treatments, and cool extras like having Polaroids developed for you! We were given complementary drinks on arrival at the bar, bags were taken up for us and the functions of the room were explained to us very professionally. All the staff were very kind, personable and had a good positive energy about them. The spa was perfect it has a soothing atmosphere and has everything you need there to unwind, I’d come back even just for the spa! From beginning to end we were made to feel very important and any questions or issued we thought we had were made a priority and were solved. Again big thank you to Anista and Coco they are amazing. I will definitely be coming back and recommending to family and friends.

The hotel is lovely with amazing facilities available including a 24hr gym. Great location for evening nightlife and restaurants. Walking distance from train station. Staff were very attentive from the moment I arrived right until the end of my stay. As I was celebrating my birthday, I had a nice birthday set up by the hotel with complimentary snacks and juice and an introduction with one of the managers who also gifted me a bottle of rosé free of charge which made it that little more special. The restaurant and bar are also a really good place to hang out if you don’t want to leave the hotel at all. The spa was included with various treatment rooms to cater to everyone’s preference.

My stay at Montcalm East started with a small hiccup, but it quickly turned into a fantastic experience thanks to the incredible staff. The Guest Experience and especially Denise, the Duty Manager went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction, resolving the issue promptly and making me feel truly valued as a guest. The thoughtful gestures, including different forms of compensations, completely turned my experience around. The follow-up from Prabhash, the other Duty Manager, was also greatly appreciated and reflected the hotel’s commitment to excellent guest service. I left Montcalm East feeling genuinely impressed by the team's dedication to creating a memorable stay. I highly recommend this hotel for their outstanding guest care and attention to detail.
